TO ACCOMMODATE MORE SCHOOLS, WE HAVE MOVED TO JANUARY 8TH The TF North High School Speech Team is thrilled to be hosting the 3rd annual Tournament of Heroes on Saturday, January 8th, 2022!
We would love to have you join us for a weekend of IN PERSON Novice and Varsity competition. Our heroic competition will have three prelim rounds, finals and next-out finals.

We would love to have you join us for a weekend of heroic competition. This tournament is for all levels of speech with top novice being recognized and a Next-In Final.
Please join us for a day of competition, fun and celebration. Students may be single, double and triple entered.
TF North "Tournament of Heroes" Information
ENTRIES
There is a 3 entry cap per event.
Three prelim round time slots with finals and Next-In final rounds.
All fourteen IHSA events will be offered.
The top two scoring contestants in each event will count toward your total team point tabulation.
Triple entering is allowed.
Radio and EXT speakers will prep once for the preliminary rounds and again for finals.
Impromptu will be run according to the state rules with 2 minutes for prep and 6 for speaking. Prep will be in the room with the judge.
AWARDS
Individual awards will be given to the top six finishers in each event and there will also be team trophies for the top 5 teams. There will also be a top novice award in each category.
FEES AND JUDGES
Each school should plan to provide one judge for every 6 entries.
The Base entry fee is $180.00 per team up to (3) in each event.
Judging: Each team will need to furnish the following number of judges based on individual entries:
1 – 6 Entries: 1 judge
7 – 12 Entries: 2 judges
13 – 18 Entries: 3 judges
19 – 24 Entries: 4 judges
25 – 30 Entries: 5 judges
31 – 36 Entries: 6 judges
37 – 42 Entries: 7 judges

All entries and numbers, add and drops should be in and updated by noon on Monday, January 10, 2022
